Building Economic Independence

Our Empowerment and Livelihoods program focuses on giving women and young people the skills, resources, and opportunities to generate sustainable income and achieve financial independence.

Empowerment work

Program Objectives

Increase economic independence among refugee and host community women
Provide vocational skills training in high-demand trades
Establish and strengthen Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs)
Facilitate market access and business linkages for women entrepreneurs
Support the creation and growth of women-led microenterprises

Key Activities

Skills Training

Hands-on training in tailoring, hairdressing, baking, crafts, and other income-generating trades.

Savings Groups

Formation and mentoring of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) for financial inclusion.

Business Support

Business development services, mentorship, and startup capital for women entrepreneurs.
